The general manager of CNIC, Mr Forgwei Alfred Mbeng and that of New Age, Bruno de Vinck have already signed a letter of intent to this effect.

New Age seeks a portion of land within the shipyard to construct a gas treatment unit in Limbe, South West Region, a move which will boost the production of energy in the country. Discussions are far advancing towards the signing of a partnership accord.

Since the construction of a multi-purpose quay-wall and a breakwater in that area, many international companies have been expressing interest in doing business with CNIC.
