A convention N° 159/CC/MINTP-CNIC signed between CNIC and the ministry of public works August 24, 2016, to rehabilitate three ferries along the sanaga river in some villages in Upper Sanaga , in the Center region has been rekindled.

Some 13 technicians from CNIC are presently working in Bifogo, Ekone and Mengue bibey under the supervision of Mr Guintcha Timothé. Concretely speaking, some equipments like generators, winch, etc are being installed in some ferries, while in another, traction cable is being changed. In all the ferries, surface treatment shall be carried out.

The initial amount of the project was FCFA 388 million but the Project Manager Yonga Clovis says some additional works are being considered.
