The convention signed August 9, 2019, by the Chief Executive officers (CEOs) of the two state structures in Kribi will facilitate CNIC’s extension to Kribi.

In his welcome speech, Mr.Patrice Melom, General Manager of the Kribi Ports Authority (PAK), said CNIC has demonstrated its technical know-how as far as offshore and onshore activities are concerned and as such, he could not hesitate to contact them when PAK’s customers indicated need for repair services. For his part, Mr. Forgwei Alfred Mbeng, General Manager of the Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd (CNIC) thanked his colleague of PAK for the confidence and assured stakeholders present at the ceremony that CNIC remains a tasted and trusted partner, with outstanding record in the domains of shipbuilding, ship repairs and industrial works in the Gulf of Guinea. The expansion to Kribi comes seven (17) years after CNIC opened its Limbe site. Like in Limbe, CNIC shall provide jobs to the youths of Kribi as well as contribute to the development of that city.
