The visit that took place on December 21, 2019, started with a Working Session in CNIC’s head office, Douala and ended with a site inspection tour at the Limbe Shipyard Project.
At the head of the AfDB delegation that was led by Mr. Ilankir Matungulu, the AfDB Executive Director for Cameroon were Mr, Racine Kane, Acting General Manager of the Regional Office for Central Africa, Mr Solomane Kone, Head of the Country Office for Cameroon, Mr Coulibaly Mohamed, Senior Country Program Officer and Mr Samba Tounkara, Consultant.
On the part of CNIC, were Mr Alfred Forgwei Mbeng, Alain Charles Dorier and Bayebec Rogers, General Manager, Marketing and Operations Manager and Project Manager for the Limbe Shipyard Project, respectively.
The parties examined the difficulties encountered in the execution of the project and made projections for the second phase which is expected to end on December 31, 2020.
