The project to rehabilitate some three ferries along river Sanaga by Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd has just been completed and handed over to the local community. The pre-reception ceremony that took place at the projects site at Mengue Bibey, Ekon and Bifogo on May 10, 2024, was witnessed by the SDO of Upper Sanaga Mr NANGA DANG and the representative of the Minister of Public Works, EGRI GAMO, sub director in charge of southern network of road maintenace and protection. Speaking during the reception ceremony, the population, through their traditional authorities thanked CNIC for the great job done, stating that it has come to relief them from the transportation nightmares over years.
